AgderLAN 2024

AgderLAN 2024 marked my first major event experience and is the largest LAN in Sørlandet, drawing around 250 attendees. I was responsible for leading the entire gaming and tournament operations, which included planning, running, and administrating all competitions across the event.

In this role, I served as Project Manager for the gaming side, heading a team of 15 students from the University of Agder. My responsibilities included organising tournament formats, match schedules, prize distribution, and live administration during the event. I also created staff shifts, coordinated internal plans, and managed the logistics of transporting and setting up all necessary equipment—including arcade machines, PCs, and peripheral setups.

The event was a success, with positive feedback from attendees and organisers, who noted the smooth execution of the tournament operations. As my first large-scale event, it was a valuable learning experience and a strong foundation for future project and event work within esports.
