Gard Family Day was an event designed to provide Gard AS employees and their families with an engaging and enjoyable experience, blending entertainment with a touch of education. Hosted at Bluebox, UiA Grimstad, the day offered a mix of interactive activities and insights into the Academic Esports study programme, highlighting how esports-related skills translate into real-world applications.

As Project Manager, I oversaw the planning and execution of the event, managing everything from layout design and activity coordination to staffing schedules, equipment setup, and logistical details.

The event featured a variety of activity stations, including F1 simulators, a StepManiaX dance machine, a PS5 gaming area, VR setups, arcade machines, and PCs equipped for Fortnite and other games. Each station was carefully managed by dedicated personnel to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees.

Food and drinks were provided throughout the day, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.

Gard Family Day successfully achieved its goal of creating an engaging experience for families, fostering connections, and offering a glimpse into the academic and professional world of esports.
