Hypercamp 2025

At Hypercamp 2025, a long-running summer camp organised by Hyperion, I delivered two full days of workshops focused on esports education. The sessions introduced students to the broader world of esports, including competitive game analysis, strategic thinking, and how to approach careers or education within the industry.

In addition to covering the fundamentals of esports and the structures behind it, I guided participants through how to build a team, develop a brand, or start an organisation—emphasising the central role of community in any successful esports initiative. The workshops were designed to be practical, inclusive, and to show that esports involves far more than just playing games.

This experience gave me the chance to further explore esports teaching outside of a university setting and contribute to shifting how esports is perceived amongst younger audiences and educators. Being part of an established national initiative like Hypercamp also reaffirmed the growing interest in structured esports learning in Norway.
